This small equatorial mount enables you to take a long exposure photograph of the sky with your own camera and tripod. The RA shaft is held in sealed roller bearings and the motor is powered by a 12V battery supply (car battery or NiCads) and the drive rate is adjustable. Once levelled (using a small bubble) it can be set to your latitude and aligned on the pole quite easily. It will give very good results with a standard 50mm lens and fast colour film. The electronic package attached is really a simple VFO unit.
